Rocha da Pena Trail

This beatiful trail is located between algarvian "barrocal" and Caldeirão moutains. We start the route in Penina village, where time has a different pace. We start climbing to the highest point of the route (479m) and continue by the upland, where we can find a big variety of botanic species. In the final part of the route we can have a good view from the Rocha da Pena escarpment. Before returning to the starting point, we will visit the Rocha mills, now in ruins.
