This trail is located in the municipality of Silves and in the parish of S. Marcos da Serra. It is, however, quite close to the border of the Alentejo region. It is a land with flood plains of the Odelouca stream. The stream has a large water flow, but in the summer dries. In this path we will cross the stream twice. This is an area with much cork. You can find a large number of mountainous landscapes in this trail: lowland areas of the stream, rushes zones and riparian vegetation, farmland and pastures, valleys, dirt roads, a small dam, olive groves, pine forests, olive groves and cork oaks. A timeless portrait of the Algarve mountain life.
