This program starts at Quinta dos Aromas e Sabores, where we have tea with herbs produced on the farm. Then we will start our walking path along the Odelouca stream, until it flows into the river Arade and where we can find the historic Rosario Island. Once you know a little of its history, we continue by the Arade river up next to its sluices until we see Silves. The sluices are a type of aqueduct that transports water from the stream to the vegetable patches. Once, this river was navigated by the Phoenicians and other peoples in their commercial routes.
